Job Description

The Procurement manager is responsible for managing ONPASSIVE’s purchasing process, forecasting and planning supply requirements. Develop innovative, efficient, and ethical buying strategies and build strong relationships with people inside and outside the organization. Also responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company’s procurement process to ensure efficient and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services.

• Implementing cost-effective purchases of all goods and services, as required by the company.
• Create and implement clear strategies for buying goods and services that are in line with the organization’s wider objectives and goals.
• Ensuring quality control and adhering to the company’s policies and procedures on supply chain management
• Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
• Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
• Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
• Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
• Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.

• Prepare and maintain periodic reports for management on purchase, controls, and processes.
• Coordinate with the legal department to ensure contract terms are beneficial to the company.
• Stay updated with the latest business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services.
• Build an implement procurement plan and procedures.
• Periodically review and evaluate the vendors register list.
• Compare costs and specifications in the proposals that suppliers and vendors send.
• Make sure the supply chain is free from slavery and corruption.

• • Assistance with general purchasing requirements.
• • Providing cover in any buying / expediting role.
• • Providing cover in Planning.
• • Day to day management of facilities (Head Office, Warehouse and a satellite sales office)
• • Other specific duties as instructed from time to time

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
